Remote Education

Attendance is essential for pupils to get the most out of their school experience, including for their attainment, wellbeing, and wider life chances. Remote education should not be
viewed as an equal alternative to attendance in school. For this reason, we consider it only as a last resort to be used in the case of prolonged school closure or restrictions on attendance are in place. The school will consider individual cases for remote education when a pupil cannot attend e.g. the pupil is able to learn but cannot be in school due to a prolonged medical matter. The school does not offer remote education for pupils on holiday or who are off school with an illness and are expected to return in a few days.
