STEM Day

We had some visits from local businesses and some of our parents who use Maths in their jobs. The children got to listen to the visitors describe their jobs and ask many fantastic questions about the Maths skills which they regularly use.

The children displayed their new knowledge in their math’s books. Can you find out how all of our visitors use maths and how our children think they may use it in their future careers? Our inspirational footballers quickly realised all the many ways in which Harry Cane must use Maths in his job as well!

Each year group worked in teams to complete a STEM workshop focusing on engineering skills. Each class displayed some fantastic communication, team-work and problem-solving skills as well as trial and error.
